Samford District Historical Museum Samford Village
If you’re planning a trip to North Brisbane, you’ll surely want to check out the Samford District Historical Museum. It is located at 21 Station St, Samford Village QLD 4520. This local museum is a labour of love for the volunteers, who dress up like people from the past. Whether you’re a history buff or just interested in Samford’s history, you’ll love the museum and the information it provides for a small admission fee.
The museum’s collection includes maps from 1864 and other materials illustrating life in the Samford Valley and surrounding areas. Visitors can also look through photo albums and local history books. The museum is open on Wednesdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm. The museum is run by volunteers, so don’t forget to book ahead.
